i left my body to channel you, so you could see how it felt when you were inside of me; so you could know the feeling of heat pressed upon heat, of passion and tones and wetness and fear and energy taking control and washing over you.
i vacated me in the name of you, to remind you of what you’ve been missing, but when i returned, i forgot who i was or where i had been and the echoes of your frequency were all shadows in my tunnels. your reverbs went oooooommm and thumped and bounced and swallowed my poetry until i was left holding broken eggs, expired meats and things of no value.
i gave you the feeling of me, but came back to the feeling of you.
and i pity us both.
